Monthly Cadence

  • Week 1: Client sends monthly financials (P&L, bank balance, A/R summary)
  • Week 2: Review financials, update KPI dashboard, prepare monthly summary memo (1–2 pages)
  • Week 2–3: Conduct monthly strategy call (60 min)
  • Week 3–4: Ad hoc advisory as needed — questions, decisions, quick analysis

Retainer Administration

  • Track hours monthly: log all calls, analysis, and ad hoc requests
  • If hours approach 15/month limit: notify client and discuss scope or pricing adjustment
  • Invoice on 1st of each month; net 10 payment terms
  • Conduct annual retainer review: assess value delivered, satisfaction, pricing for renewal
